Can one system cover generation and backup?
Yes, that is what a hybrid inverter does. Solar, grid and battery sit on one bus and charge priority is configurable per site.
How is the battery bank sized?
To the critical load and required autonomy, not to total campus demand. Backing up everything is rarely worth the capital.
Can it replace the diesel generator?
For most critical circuits, yes. Sites with very large motor starting loads usually keep a DG as a secondary backup.
Who installs and maintains it?
An appointed IYRO dealer. We manufacture, supply and back the warranty; they design, install and service.
